On September 5, the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs moderated by Vladimir Vardanyan at the sitting debated in the second reading and endorsed a number of legislative initiatives.

The draft law on Amending the Law on Guarantees of the Activity of the Deputy of the RA National Assembly authored by the RA NA deputy Sergey Bagratyan was debated.

As the RA NA President Ararat Mirzoyan presented, the Committee in the second reading debated the legislative package on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Constitutional Law the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly.

The Head of the parliament informed that there were working debates on the draft laws with the RA NA opposition factions, the RA Government and the NGOs.

According to Ararat Mirzoyan, during the debates a number of recommendations have been voiced, which have been mainly accepted.

Several provisions of the law on Corruption Prevention Committee were amended.
